Kenny was a married man, and while his wife’s name remains under review, she worked as a nurse at the hospital where he underwent a minor surgery. The couple met in 1995, exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony in 1998, attended by family, friends, and fellow artists. Their union blessed them with four children, comprising two sons and two daughters.
Tragically, Dr. Kenny Makwenge succumbed to a Brain Stroke on January 15, 2024. Earlier, he had suffered a brain injury, leading to hospitalization and intensive care treatment.
The severity of his condition was communicated to the family on January 9, 2024, with no signs of improvement. His funeral took place on January 23, 2024, at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane. The announcement of his passing was made by his record label, KennyMak Productions.
