Owolabi Olakulehin Biography

Oba Owolabi Olakulehin currently holds the title of Balogun of Ibadanland, leading the military lineage within the Olubadan system. With the passing of Oba Moshood Olalekan Balogun, the former Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Owolabi is poised to succeed him as the next Olubadan of Ibadan.

Born July 5, 1935, he hails from Okugbaja family, Ita Baale area.

Owolabi Olakulehin became Mogaji in 1983, started climbing Olubadan ladder in 1986.

He was  chairman, Ibadan South -East, Mapo.

He owns Olakulehin Printing Press and a bakery.

He is an ex-service man, because he served in the Nigerian Army.
