Ekene Umenwa Cynthia, popularly known as Ekene Umenwa or Angel Palazo, is a multifaceted talent in the Nigerian entertainment scene, excelling in acting, comedy, content creation, event planning, and brand influencing. Born on August 27, 1991, in Benin City to Mr. Nmenwa and Mrs. Lucy Ogoamaka Umenwa, she hails from Anambra State.

Her formative years were spent in her hometown, where she completed her primary and secondary education before obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Ebonyi State University in 2015.

Ekene entered Nollywood in 2011, making her debut in the movie “King After King,” where she collaborated with other industry stalwarts. She has since showcased her versatility in various roles in Nollywood productions, including “Cab Ladies,” “Money and Blood,” “Innocent Oath,” “The Black Choir,” “King After Kings,” among others.

Beyond acting, she is a skilled skit maker, MC, and the founder of Ekyevents Confectionery, offering event planning and baking services.
